RHYTHM FM (Pty) Ltd, a Sound Broadcasting licensee, was referred to the Complaints and Compliance Committee (“CCC”) at the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (“ICASA”) on the instruction of the then General Manager of the Compliance and Consumer Affairs Division (“CCA”) at ICASA. She informed the Licensee that the matter would be referred to the CCC on 13 June 2019. The ground for the reference was the alleged contravention of Regulation 5(1) and 5(2) of Schedule 1 of the 2010 Standard Terms and Conditions for Individual Licences as amended in 2016.2
