Draft Municipal Elections Broadcasts And Political Advertisements Amendment Regulations 2020

The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (“ICASA” or “the Authority”) hereby declares its intention to amend the Municipal Elections Broadcasts and Political Advertisements Regulations 2011, as amended, in accordance with the provisions of section 4 (3)(j) of the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa Act No. 13 of 2000 (“ICASA Act”), as amended read together with sections 56-59 of the Electronic Communications Act No. 36 of 2005 (“the ECA”), as amended.
