ICASA PAIA Manual 2020

This Manual has been compiled in accordance with the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (the Act). ICASA is a public body as defined in the Act, and this Manual contains the information specified in section 14(1) of the Act, which is applicable to such a public body.

The Manual is intended, as contemplated in the Act, to give effect to the constitutional right of access to information held by the State and information that is held by any other person and that is required for the exercise or protection of any rights.

The Manual envisages providing a broad yet simple guide which will enable the requestor to obtain the records to which they are entitled in a quick, easy and accessible manner bearing in mind the Authority’s vision, mission, and values.
