The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa ("the Authority") hereby invites applications for Community Television Broadcasting Service ("CTBS") and Radio Frequency Spectrum ("RFS") Licences for Multiplex 1 frequencies in terms of section 17, 31 (1) and 31 (2) of the Electronic Communications Act, 2005 (Act No. 36 of 2005), as amended ("the EC Act") read with regulation 4(5) of the Community Broadcasting Services Regulations, 2019, regulation 4 of the Promotion of Diversity and Competition on DTT Regulations, 2014 and read with regulation 7 of the Radio Frequency Spectrum Regulations, 2015.
