Notice On The Implementation Of The Number Portability Regulations 2018

The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (“the Authority”) has in terms of section 68 (1)(b) read with section 4 of the Electronic Communications Act (Act No. 36 of 2005), as amended, published the Number Portability Regulations in Government Gazette No. 41949 (“the Regulations”) dated 1 October 2018.

In line with regulation 14 of the Regulations, the Authority hereby proclaims that the Regulations will come into force on 7 March 2022.
