Number Portability Regulations 2018 41949

ICASA has in terms of section 68 (1) (b) read with section 4 of the Electronic Communications Act (Act no. 36 of 2005), as amended, developed the Number Portability Regulations including the Reasons Document.
The purpose of the regulations is to Ensure that there are measures for the introduction of number portability including the creation of a number portability database and cost allocation and cost recovery among licensees
