Radio Frequency Spectrum Fees Regulations for Electronic Communication Network Services and Electronic Communication Services
Purpose of the regulations:
- Standardise RFS license fees and pricing in order to promote efficiency of spectrum use and conformity with international standards in the usage of spectrum in the Republic;
- Establish a transparent, fair, competitive and non-discriminatory radio frequency spectrum fee regime based on administrative incentive pricing and which does not preclude the use of auctions and other internationally-accepted methods of determining Radio Frequency Spectrum Fees
Repealed Regulations:
Repeals the E1 licence fees contained in Chapter 6 of the Radio Regulations published in Government Gazette number 2862 of 1979
