Deadline for enquiries on the ITA for high demand spectrum

Pretoria – The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA/the Authority) hereby wishes to remind stakeholders that the closing date for enquiries in respect of the Invitation To Apply (ITA) for high demand spectrum or International Mobile Telecommunications (IMT) spectrum is 22 October 2020 at 16h30.

This follows an announcement by the Authority on 30 September 2020 that it has provided fourteen (14) working days from 2 October 2020 – the date in which the ITA was published, to submit any enquiries regarding the ITA by all interested stakeholders and the general public. The submission of clarity seeking enquiries are to be submitted in writing to the email address stipulated in the ITA.
