ICASA TO CONDUCTS PUBLIC HEARINGS ON POSSIBLE EFFECTS OF LOADSHEDDING ON THE ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS, BROADCASTING AND POSTAL SECTORS

PRETORIA - The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA) will hold public hearings on the 12th of June 2024 in respect of the Notice of Inquiry on the possible effects of loadshedding and the regulatory relief measures the Authority may consider as it seeks ways to alleviate the impact of loadshedding in the electronic communications, broadcasting and postal sectors.

Oral representations will be limited to stakeholders who have submitted written comments.

Members of the media and Interested stakeholders are invited to attend the public hearings as follows:
