2022-11-11ICASA will host the South African Fifth Generation Mobile Technology (5G) Forum Meeting on 16 and 17 November 2022, from 11:30 a.m. to 17:00 p.m. at the Premier Hotel Midrand in Gauteng. The theme of this meeting is “Early Phases of 5G Deployment: Experiences and Beyond”.
ICASA approves the applications from Dark Fibre Africa to transfer the ownership and control of their I-ECS and I-ECNS licences
2022-11-09On October 21, 2022, the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa approved a series of applications by Dark Fibre Africa to transfer the ownership and control of their I-ECS and I-ECNS licences. The effective date for the transfer of the licences is 01 December 2022.
Workshops to assist stakeholders with the DTT Community Television Broadcasting Service licensing process
