ICASA TO HOLD PUBLIC HEARINGS ON THE DRAFT CALL TERMINATION AMENDMENT REGULATIONS, 2024
2024-05-31The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (“ICASA") will hold public oral hearings on the Draft Call Termination Amendment Regulations of 2024 (“the draft Amendment Regulations”), in accordance with Section 4(6) of the Electronic Communications Act No.36 of 2005, as amended.

2024-04-19The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA) published an Amendment to the National and Provincial Party Elections Broadcasts and Political Advertisements Regulations, 2014, (“the Regulations”) on 26 February 2024. The Regulations are applicable to broadcasting service licensees during the election period, including Political Parties and Independent Candidates (“IC”) contesting the upcoming national and provincial elections.
