Sector Forecasting

ICASA is responsible for the collection of statistics to monitor and report on the progress of ICT in the South Africa. This information is then used by the Authority to publish the State of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Sector report annually, with the inaugural version published in March 2016.

The questionnaires used to collect the relevant information are customised for the three sectors that ICASA regulates, namely telecommunications, broadcasting and postal.
